William Arthur Villa Sr

William Arthur Villa, Sr. "Bill" of Sedona, Arizona, passed away on January 21, 2015 at the age of 81. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Karen; his daughter Carla Lalley; his son William Jr.; step-daughters Leslie and Julie Abel; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter; as well as his sister Louisa Ann Woodfill and his brother Louis Villa. He will be loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends throughout the country. He is preceded in death by his brothers Bernard John Jr. and James.

Bill was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and attended St. Mary's University. He proudly served for the US Navy on active duty from 1952-1956 during the Korean War followed by four years in the Naval Reserve. After a successful 35 year career with Litton Industries, he retired in 1991. Bill was an avid golfer, sports enthusiast, and active in the local VFW.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 @ 11:00 AM in the chapel of Greer's Mortuary of Sedona with a reception to follow.
