Robert (Bob) Cardwell Moulinier, age 63, owner of Red Rock Renovations of Sedona, AZ died November 17th at home surrounded by family.
Bob was born in Cincinnati, OH on November 19, 1953 to the late John Rodman and Marian Higginbottom Moulinier, the 4th of 6 children. In 1955 the family moved to Scottsdale, AZ. The Mouliniers were members of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Scottsdale and spent many summers camping in Oak Creek Canyon. As a young man Bob worked for Kussmaul Electronics in Tucson at several mining sites where at the age of 24 he had a near-fatal industrial accident. Upon his recovery he worked for Kussmaul in Tonopah, NV. In his mid to late 20s Bob worked as a professional welder for National Shipbuilding in Mission Beach, CA. and then moved to Washington, D.C. in his late 20s to work on the Metro subway system.. Bob later started his own home remodeling business, Bobs Custom Works, in the D.C. metropolitan area. In 1991, Bob met his wife Deirdre Ward Moulinier.
Bob and Deirdre moved back to Sedona in 1999 and started Red Rock Renovations in 2000. As a General Contractor Bob restored/remodeled many houses and small businesses in the Verde Valley, Oak Creek Canyon and Phoenix. He was known for having a strong work ethic and an acute attention to detail.
Bob is survived by wife, Deirdre, siblings William Redwood (Barbara) Moulinier of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Edward Logan aka: Capt. Ted (Lisa) Moulinier, Margaret Haviland Capozio, both of Lewis DE, and Michael Elliot (Marie) Moulinier of Philadelphia, PA, daughters, Liana (Johnny) Vincent of Katy, TX, Melissa Hardwick of Sedona, stepson Andrew (Sarah) Gillis of Fallon, NV, 7 grandchildren, Emily, Ella, Zane, Josie, Beau, Ruby and June and many nieces and nephews. Bob is pre-deceased by brother Philip Price Moulinier.
The Moulinier Family wish to thank the Palliative Care Team at Verde Valley Medical Center, Hospice Compassius of the Verde Valley and our church family at St. Andrews Episcopal Church for their kindness and support during Bobs illness and since his death.
A Burial Service will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 100 Arroyo Pinon Road, Sedona, AZ on December 17, 2016 at 10:00 am. A second Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring at a time to be decided. Please go to GreersMortuary.com to sign the guest book.
