October 5, 1941 — May 10, 2026
Rick passed away peacefully at his home in Sedona, Arizona surrounded by family on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Rick proudly served in the US Marine Corps, and served as a police officer for the City of San Diego and San Diego City School District. After retirement he volunteered to serve the Arizona Rangers Mounted Unit with trusty horse "Buddy". He had a full life of service and honor. Rick is loved by his family and many friends and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Kim, his children Amy, Matt, Danny, and Scott, grandchildren Crystal, Jimi, Ellie, Harper, Bryce, and Dalton, his sister Joan and brother Steve.
Funeral service and Celebration of Rick's Life will be held at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA on May 26, 2026 at 1:15pm.
