The Rev. Phyllis H. Averill, 78, of the Village of Oak Creek, died July 28.
She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Arland Averill; sons Lance (Yumi) Averill of Phoenix, and William (Dorothy) Kakuba of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughters Alane (Michael) Eaton of Mesa, and Karlin (James) Franks of Osseo, Wis.; and six grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Sedona United Methodist Church. Contributions in her memory are suggested to Heifer International.
