Paul Meyer

Paul Meyer was born to Jacob and Elsiana Margaretha Meyer in Indonesia on September 9th, 1934. He passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Paul immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 to start a new life in a new country with a new language. He returned to Holland to marry his sweetheart and returned to the U.S. and begin his career in Aerospace Engineering. He worked with defense contractors on projects like missile guidance systems, military weapons systems and other space-based projects. He LOVED his work.

Upon retirement he went to his hobbies which were: model trains, his favorite car a Cadillac Eldorado, traveling with his beloved wife, Elizabeth, and enjoying the company of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paul was a kind, gentle, Christian man.

Paul is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth; 2 sons and 2 daughters: Patrick (& Stephanie) Meyer, Douglas (& Barbara) Meyer, Sharon Meyer Wilmeth and Jacqueline Meyer Welly; 9 grandchildren: Dylan Meyer, Tyler (& Erika) Meyer, Dustin (& Brittney) Meyer, Logan (& Heather) Moores, Brooke (& Cody) Shriver, Courtney (& Steven) Guyer, Alec Serna (deceased), Christopher Welly, Connor (& Anna) Serna and Bailey Wilmeth; 16 great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved extended family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life for Paul will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Clarkdale Baptist Church.
