Patricia Pelter Foster

Patricia Pelter Foster, age 93, passed away on May 24th at Sedona Winds Assisted Living in Sedona, AZ.
Patricia was born February 19th, 1929 in Ludington, Michigan, the daughter of the late Ivan and Grace Pelter. She
was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Donald, in 2018 and her son, Douglas, in 2012. She is survived
by her daughter, Lisa McGirr (Michael) of Granger, IN., and her grandchildren: Ryan McGirr, Tyler McGirr, and Molly McGirr Gleason.
as well as three great grandchildren: Layla, Doug and Ayden Gleason.

Patricia raised her family in Miami, Florida where she was a loving and attentive mother. She enjoyed vacationing every summer in
her hometown of Ludington, MI. Patricia loved spending time on the beach and visiting family and friends.

In 1986, she and Don retired to Sedona, AZ. Patricia served as the Chairwoman of Sedona Welcomers for over 25 years. She was
a member of University Women and a longtime member of The Church of the Red Rocks. In 2017, Patricia was honored with the
Shining Star award in recognition for her many years of service to the Sedona Community.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the wonderful care give to Patricia through Hospice Compassus.

Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes at The Church of the Red Rocks columbarium.
