Jean Francis Souders (Age 90)
Passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2015. Born December 31, 1925, in Spring Valley, Minnesota, Jean was a longtime member of the Missouri Bar who practiced labor law in St. Louis until his retirement in 1991, when he moved to Sedona. A few short years later he recorded a hole-in-one on April 15, 1995, at Canyon Mesa Golf Club. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Jane, Jean was the proud and loving father of Jeff, Sue (Stanforth), Dave, Cary (Todd) and Ed and beloved by twelve grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A former mayor of Des Peres, Missouri, police judge, and civic activist, Jean was irreverent, irrepressible, and irreplaceable. He did good things for the many whose lives he touched. He will be missed. Donations to the Meals-on-Wheels program at the Adult Community Center of Sedona would honor Jean's life and memory.
