James Walter Eaton

James (Jim) W. Eaton, 91, of Sedona, died Jan. 25.
Upon retiring to Sedona in 1986, he became involved in local and state organizations including Keep Sedona Beautiful, Sedona Historical Society, Friends of the Forest, Sedona Recycles, Sedona Centennial Steering Committee, Arizona Historical Society and various volunteer jobs with the city, including the election drive, which incorporated Sedona as a city in 1987.
Funeral arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Sedona Heritage Museum.
