Ira Marxe

Ira Marxe, 92, of Sedona, died March 2.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served on the board of directors of the Sedona International Film Festival and Jewish Community of Sedona and Verde Valley.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Marxe, sister Ann Friedman and brother Maxwell Marxe.
He is survived by his wife Sheila; stepchildren Alice Zoe (Mark Schmidt) Jackman and Mark (Carol Thompson) Jackman; daughters Susan (Bruce) Seitz and Francine Marxe; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
