Galen Lynn Carpenter
November 16, 1946 — September 1, 2017
Galen Carpenter, 70, of Sedona, died Sept. 1.
In 1987, he moved to Sedona and began a career as a wood artist. His work won many awards and is in private collections and museums including the Renwick.
With humanity and a heart full of love, he appreciated everyone that helped him through life.
He is survived by his wife Ann, son Ben (Misty) and two granddaughters.
A memorial will be held in Kansas in the spring with family and friends.
