Gail Jamesen 86 beloved mother and friend died peacefully on August 17 2013 at Verde Valley Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1926 in St. Paul Minnesota. On May 30, 1946 at the age 19 she married John (Jack) Reed Jamesen. They moved to Cedar Rapids in 1960 where Jack managed the Midwest area for Prudential Life Insurance and Gail was very involved in charities and community endeavors. On a vacation in 1970 they discovered their beloved Sedona where they bought land. In 1980, they were able to build their own "dream home". They enjoyed life and were very active in the community and the Church of the Red Rocks. The Jack Jamesen Memorial Park in Sedona is a tribute to this. They were also blessed to have had 50 years of marriage. She is survived by her three daughters Lynn Jamesen (Pat) of Prairie Village Kansas, Jill Jamesen Galea (Peter) of New Jersey/Sedona and Cory Jamesen Lally (Harry) of Carol Stream Illinois. Also, loved by her three grandchildren Sean Burke Jamesen of Kansas City Kansas Jillian Ivy Lally and Trey Charles Lally of Carol Stream, Illinois. Additionally, loved by her brother in law Roy Bud Jamesen and his children Carol, Sandy and Randy and their families.

Family Memorial Services to be scheduled. In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests any donations can be to the Humane Society of Sedona or Church of the Red Rocks of Sedona.
