Donald Foster

Donald Rogers Foster, Age 91, passed away on July 31st, 2018 at the Sedona Winds in Sedona, AZ. Donald was born May 25, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Frank and May Rogers Foster. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Douglas in 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Patricia Pelter Foster. Additionally, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa McGirr (Michael) of South Bend, IN. Also, he is survived by his grandchildren: Ryan McGirr, Tyler McGirr, Molly McGirr Gleason (Pierce), and Douglas Dougherty Foster. As well as two great grandchildren, Laylah Ann Gleason and Cam Douglas Gleason.Don loved his Patsy and treasured his life with her. They raised their family in Miami, Florida where Don owned a successful construction business. Don was an avid golfer, and the club champion for several years in Miami. He enjoyed a long retirement in a place he loved: Sedona. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the wonderful care given to Don through Hospice Compassus.
