He was a resident of Sedona since September 2013.

He is survived by his wife Connie; daughters Shelli (Cal) Novacek of Big Fork, Mont., and Brandy (John) Mantione of Libertyville, Ill.; sons Bryce, Bryan, and Bret Piasecki, all of Toledo, Ohio; brother Mark (Brenda) Piasecki of Toledo Ohio; and grandsons Justin (Heidi) Girardot, Coty, Caleb and Brendan Piasecki.

Memorial services in Montana and Ohio will be announced at a later date.
