Bobbye White-May

June 21, 1933 — December 12, 2013

Bobbye White-May, 80, went home into the loving arms of Jesus on December 12, 2013. She passed away at her residence in Camp Verde surrounded by her family.

Born June 21, 1933 in Sudan, Texas; she moved to Arizona from Portales, New Mexico in 1945. She worked for the Verde Valley Justice Court for six years before she was an assistant manager of Valley National Bank, retiring in 1991 after 26 years.

She was a member of Camp Verde Christian Church and also enjoyed gardening, quilting, and animal rescue.

She is survived by her sons Lee Roy (Wendy) White, Bruce (Pam) White, David D. White, and Randy (Rhonda) Austin; brother Tom (Lynne) Schrimsher; sister Donna St. George; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Dale H. May; parents Roy and Mary Schrimsher; grandmother Ethel Malone; and brother Royce Schrimsher.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 @ 10:00AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Camp Verde (360 S. 5th Street) with a reception to follow. Rev. Greg Young will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, 86326.
